Make It Count

4:00 PM - Instead of working out in the basement gym that smells of BO and sweat, I went for a random 3 mile bike ride with two friends and enjoyed the beautiful weather, grabbing a Starbucks smoothie as a treat.

9:45 PM - Spontaneously went fountain-hopping for $10 and got soaked to the bone [I was wearing sweatpants and a nice top... Prime fountain-hopping clothes]. Helped my friend post flyers for her campaign at my school and had a memorable adventure with my four best friends while at it.

11:25 PM - Someone jokingly tossed up the idea of attending the midnight showing of Titanic 3D.

11:35 PM - Called two different movie theaters, talked to a hysterical lady on the phone, found a theater that still had tickets, and walked out the door.

11:42 PM - Carl called his friend and we ran to the parking lot and got into the borrowed car.

12:01 AM - Parked. Got ice cream and popcorn. Sat down.

3:15 AM - Left enlightened and bawling. I don't think I've ever gotten the point of the movie until now. I've only watched it about 2 or 3 times, but I've either never watched it fully or never actually paid attention to it. But actually sitting down and watching the movie in a theater with spectacular 3D effects forced me to actually think about the movie was saying and I understood the ending so much better. Cinematic masterpiece of our generation! Plus, it was a great roommate bonding moment.

4:06 - Bedtime. The birds were already awake. Geez, I didn't know you had to be up that early to catch the worm.

This scene gave me shivers! What a profound moment... And watching this at the midnight showing of Titanic was a once in a lifetime opportunity, as I already missed it the first time around.

[unpictured: Carl!] Why we be so cray cray?

Amazing.

Borrowing the words of Jack Dawson-- "make it count."
