Obsession Confession

Sometimes, I get a little obsessed with things.
Jennifer Lawrence, the Modern Skinny jeans from LOFT, Pantene Pro-V silicone-free shampoo for fine hair {volume & billowy hair for days, oh my!}, and chocolate milk.
You know... all the healthy things in life.

I also get really obsessed with specific colors or trends when it comes to buying clothes.

Remember this?

On my Spring Break trip to New York City last year, I tried on nothing but mint colored clothing of all shades. Pants, shorts, shirts, scarves, you name it - it was in my dressing room.

For a long time, it was lilac. And then lace. Actually, I'm still grabbing every single thing adorned with lace and casually throwing it in my "need-not-want" pile.

Well, it's happened again.

Observe, my shopping selections for the fitting room last week:

Currently, I am obsessed with all things coral, peach, blush, and everything in between.

And then, on Black Friday.
All white, black, or gray/silver.
It was like shopping in grayscale.

It's like for each shopping trip, I can only handle looking for one specific trend/color/whats-its and can't even begin to process any other super-cute-and-flattering piece of clothing out there. Except that this phase usually lasts for two or three or fifteen months before I move on to the next obsession.

What about you? What are you obsessed with?

  16. Hehe! I love this. I'm the same way - but usually with neutrals. As much as I love bright colors, I find myself almost never buying them for my own closet! xoxo, eliza
