Serra End of the Year Banquet // Boat Party

I have made no secret that my dorm, Serra, has been hands-down one of the very best things I have ever had in my life. The people I live with are literally the most talented, intelligent, beautiful, and amazing people I have ever met. Our dynamic is incredible. It's true that we don't know some people as well as others, but without even a second thought, any single person in this dorm would give or do anything to help any of their dorm-mates. We've been there for each other through the tears, the laughter, the late-night conversations, the illnesses, the midterms... Everything.

That is also precisely why our end-of-the-year banquet was so bittersweet. It was so much fun - 80 of us were on a boat and we spent 4 hours around the San Francisco Bay - talking, laughing, eating, taking pictures, and dancing. It was definitely one of the most memorable experiences of this year, but at the same time, it was a reminder that the year is ending soon and we are about to be disbanded. It was a celebration - of the year, of us, of everything we have ahead of us.

One of my favorite memories of the night: during the Superlatives/Slideshow presentations, every time I looked over at Emily, she had her scarf fashioned in a different way on her head. For Superlatives, we were gifted Serra scarves and shot glasses... So cute!

We love our RA Annika! She's been the most perfect friend and RA in the world...
